I just got this cover for my wonderful clean, new down comforter. After much looking around and reading other's reviews, I decided on this one. First for the color combination and secondly for the thread count and size. I have an oversized queen comforter and this cover fits it perfectly. It is soft and silky right out of the package and looks beautiful on the bed. It adds a sophisticated look to the bedroom. I highly recommend this item for the design as well as the quality of the product. The buttons are nicely hidden and it was very easy to insert the comforter inside. I love this cover and made a great decision!! Everyone should get this!!

I love this duvet cover but was unaware that the color French Blue is more like a pale lavender. It's subtle in the photos, but against my distinctly blue bedroom walls, it's very noticeable. Despite this contrast I kept it anyway. The duvet styling and quality is such a great find that I'd rather paint my bedroom than continue looking. Also, the "brown" is very muted and nearly gray. Overall, very nice and a great compromise when your husband doesn't tolerate "frilly" bedding. Only washed it once so far so I cannot comment on durability. Had the color been "blue" it would've received 5 stars.

This duvet is of very nice quality. However, the color is rather odd. The blue and the brown are not standard---the blue has a touch of purple and the brown has a grey tint. I had thought that this would go with my current blue and brown bedroom accessories, so I'm disappointed that nothing matches. If I would have thought to order the shams or accessory pillows I would like this better. As it is, I keep returning decorative pillows I purchase as it's proving to be impossible to match the duvet.

I am very pleased with this duvet cover. It is really difficult to find duvets of this quality for the price offered here. The quality of the duvet (and matching shams) is really beautiful. The fact that it can be washed is a great plus as well. While the color (taupe/natural) is perfect in my guest room (I was fearful it would be too beige), the darker color (taupe) actually has a lot of golden tones and the background is a "gray beige." This actually matches my color scheme perfectly; but for those who really want more of a beige/taupe and light background, you may be disappointed. I thought the color was completely off from what I saw on the website. But, as I say, for me, this is perfect!

I bought all new bedding in this pattern, and I'm in love with it. It has the look and feel of really high end fabric. The color hues in it are interesting, and I've still not found everything I want to go with it. Some blues and taupes that I think are spot-on, aren't, and I accidentally put a soft, muted lavender pillow next to it, and it was perfect. But it's all part of the fun of decorating and discovering what works and what doesn't. Somehow, the colors are peaceful. I walk into my bedroom (months after purchasing), and I'll just stand for a couple of seconds and drink it all in.

This fabric has a very nice drape and feel. The color is a pinkish taupe and very hard to match, but otherwise is quite beautiful and well made.

I purchased the whole set. The duvet cover was nice, but not the quality I was looking for. The shams are for sure a sham. They are open at the ends and are way too large for the pillow type. I will have to get the sewing machine out to make adjustments. I thought I was getting a deal, but the dealer won this hand.

** The material of this sham is very nice, but something in the way the sham is constructed does not work at all. The sham droops around the pillow so that it looks like an ill-fitting pillow case. Unfortunately, I bought this for the centerpiece of our bed, a large Euro pillow. It now looks like a large lump, or like a laundry bag kind of tossed on the bed, so disappointing. The edges of the sham do not stand up or out, but collapse instead. As another reviewer has mentioned, it does fit very loosely. I will have to find some other use for it; the only thing I can think of is as a regular pillow case. Even then, it will fall off. Not recommended, unless you have an unusual use for an unconventional sham. **

Good price and quality. Tight twist and weave, thick, silky, egyptian cotton fabric. Elegant taupe on ecru jacquard pattern. Back of pillow is nice also. Substantial fabric for large pillows, King or Euro against the headboard for reading or back of a day bed. I placed additional pillows for sleeping in front. Very satisfied.

The pattern on these shams are beautiful, but they fit a Euro pillow (26 inches by 26 inches) very loosely and did not look right once over the pillow. I returned these for this reason.
